What is included in my registration fee?
The registration fee includes:
- Parking on the mainland for the weekend while you are on the Island.
- Transport to the island.
- Accommodation for two nights on Inis Mor.
- Transport to and from your accommodation on the island.
- Buffet meal on Friday evening.
- Breakfast on Saturday Morning.
- Your race pack.
- Technical running t-shirt
- Race entry
- Refreshments on the half marathon route.
- First aid and physio at the Start / Finish line.
- A medal for all participants.
- A certificate of completion to all who finish the half marathon.
- Buffet meal on Saturday evening.
- Entertainment on Saturday evening.
- Breakfast on Sunday morning.
- Transport back to the mainland.
And last but not least, a great time with a great bunch of people.
Where do I park on the mainland before being transported to Inis Mor?
There will be a designated carpark in Connemara airport for all cars to be parked over the weekend.
Will there be a cost for the carpark in Connemara?
Nope, it’s all included in you registration fee.
What is the date of the race for 2018?
The half marathon will take place at 12:00 noon on Saturday 7th April 2018, while participants can choose to come to the island on the day of the run however their accommodation will be available to them on the night of Friday 6th so why not make a weekend of it.
What is the start time of the race?
The half marathon will start at 12:00 noon on Saturday 7th of April.
Is this run timed?
No, this is a fun run and will not be officially timed.
Where is the start of the Run?
The half marathon will begin at Kilronan (don’t worry, you won’t miss it)

When can I enter?

How do I enter?
It’s simple to enter, Click here to register at a cost of €100.00 and get your fundraising tools to help you raise the remainder of the registration fee €550.00
What is the entry fee?
The total entry fee per participant is €650.00, Participants have to pay €100.00 at the time of registration to book their place and participants can then choose to fundraise or pay the remainder of the registration fee (€550.00)
What happens when I enter on-line?
You’ll get an email response with all the info you’ll need for the event and also a host of fundraising tools.
Who can I contact for help?
Do I get a refund or deferment if I can’t run?
Refunds will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
Can I transfer my number if I can’t run?
Any transfers or cancellations will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
Where do I pick up my RACE / BIB number (Race Pack)?
Your half marathon pack will be waiting for you to collect on your arrival on Inis Mor
Will there be water stops on the route?
Yes, there will be refreshments at several point on the route.
Will there be markers on the route?
Yes, there will be Km signs on the route.
Can my Family Cross the finish line with me?
For sure, the more the merrier, this is a fun run after all.
What is the cut off time?
The half marathon does not have a cut off time but if it is deemed by the stewards that anybody is struggling or at risk them they will be escorted to the finish line by car.
What do I need to bring with me?
Bring yourself and a smile…… You’ll need running/active wear for the half marathon itself and the rest is up to you just keep in mind you’ll be there from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.
Can I walk the course?
Yes. Walk, Run or Crawl, we are all in it together and nobody will be left behind.
Will I receive a Medal for finishing my race?
Yes! Everyone who finishes will receive a Medal.
If I don't make the race will you post out the medal to me?
Yes, and your participants pack, the only thing you will not receive is the certificate of completion.
Is there an age restriction for participants?
Yes. Under 18’s cannot participate in Half Marathon. This is in line with the IAAF guidelines

Will the course be marked in miles or kilometres?
